Establishing God's Kingdom in every Sphere of Influence
2010 – Time to get into the right position
Jan 1st
Alignment – The process of adjusting parts so that they are in proper relative position
2010 is the year of Alignment. It is the year where God wants to align you, put you in the right position where you can function to your maximum ability. Not only is it the position for optimum function, it is the position you are called to, the position of your destiny.
Joseph had an amazing destiny. His very name, which means “He adds/He multiplies” spoke of his call to bring growth and abundance to the nations. But here he was in a slimy prison cell living on bread and water seeing everything else but addition, multiplication and abundance.
His destiny was to stand at Pharaohs side, as a ruler and adviser. Even as a young adult it had been revealed to him in a dream that his brothers, and his father and mother would bow down to him. The reality however looked different, he was sold into slavery by the very brothers who were to bow down to him, instead of anyone bowing to him he was the servant of many – he was out of alignment with his destiny!
But one day Pharaoh had a strange dream, no one could interpret it, all the wise men of his court were lost for words and Pharaoh was deeply troubled! (Genesis 41:8)
In this season of Alignment, God will create situations and problems that can only be solved by YOU!
The chief butler remembered Joseph.
2010 is the year that people will remember you!
The butler remembered Joseph’s gift, and told Pharaoh about it.
2010 is the year that people will tell others about your gift!
“Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him quickly out of the dungeon;…”
Genesis 41:14
Please note: Pharaoh sent for Joseph, Joseph did not have to go screaming and kicking down doors. In this season of Alignment people will send and call for you, because there are situations that can only be solved by the gift of God in you. Solving these problems and situations will bring you into Right Alignment, into the right relationship and position for God to establish your destiny.
So do not wonder about what is happening at work or in your family or in your church. God is putting things in right alignment. Alignment is not always easy, many times it is a painful process like straightening a bent iron rod or a twisted bone, but the ultimate result is a smoother functioning, a more efficient way of operating.
2010 – your year of the right alignment, time for you to get into the right position and fulfill your destiny!!!
Many Blessings from us and God’s speed for 2010! We love you

Inspired Strategies, Real World Solutions
Dec 6th
Last week we spoke about Jesus’ mandate to bring Good News to the poor. We saw that Good News means practical solutions to real life problems; that is what is good news in the ears of a troubled person.
In 2 Kings 4:2 we read of a widow who was in an extremely tricky situation. Her husband had borrowed some money from some very unfriendly people and then he died before he could pay it back. As a result, her kids were in danger of being sold as slaves in order to cover the cost of the debt. She had a real problem, a money problem, she needed some REAL Good News!
Do you need some good news in your situation? Some REAL Good News? YES?
But let me first return to the story:
So this desperate woman, makes her way to the prophet in search of help. What happens next? Does the prophet wave a magic wand, tell her to sow a seed and wait for her miracle? No, he asks her: What do you have in your house?
Ask yourself, what do you have in your house? What are the resources you already have?
I have nothing she says (Have you ever thought you had nothing…..nothing to give…no money to invest? Watch what happens next.)
Oh, wait, she says, I have a small container of oil. Well then, the prophet replies, go to all your neighbors and ask them for containers, as many as you can, take them to your house, close the door and pour from your bottle of oil until all the containers are full – and she went and did as he said.
The prophet gave her an inspired strategy for a REAL problem, not some kind of spiritual “feel good” slogan or sermon, but a real strategy to help her come out of her situation.
God is waiting to give you an inspired strategy for REAL World problems. Real solutions to take you to the next level in your life, isn’t that REALLY GOOD NEWS?
Next week we shall look at what happened next in our story and why inspired strategies are not enough to solve the real life problems you face today!
Have a blessed week!

Good News for the Poor (and for you too!)
Dec 2nd
Good news for the Poor (and for you too!)
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach Good News to the poor.” Luke 4:18
With these words Jesus launched his ministry on earth, it was the first salvo of many more to come, a headline of what he was going to be about, what we could expect.
Good News for poor people. Have you ever thought of what would be good news, when you are poor? What announcement would you make to poor people, that would absolutely throw them into frenzied celebrations? Think of it.
My kids have been watching this movie called “Madagascar” for the last couple of months (as in every day for the last 3 months – they now know it by heart), there are these little creatures, I think they are lemurs that absolutely know how to celebrate, especially when they receive the good news that “Alex the Lion” was not going to eat them.
What would be good news mean to you personally? Imagine you receive a letter in the mail and it says: Good news……you have been selected to receive………………………….(fill in your good news!)
Will it be something ethereal, far away and abstract, or something real, tangible that will get you excited. I am sure it will be real, physical, maybe money, maybe an inheritance or health or something for your family and loved ones; That is good news!
So when we are talking about Good News for the poor, we are talking about tangible solutions that make a lasting difference. Not handouts, not quick fixes which create more dependence, not projects which mainly serve to create employment for those who run it, but real impact that transforms lives.
How is it in your life? Are you in need of some good news? Jesus has something in store for you right now, not when you die or far away in eternity, right now there is a life transforming power available for you to produce tangible solutions for your situation.
I declare to you “GOOD NEWS” in your life and situation, in the Name of Jesus
Next week we will look at God’s diving strategy to provide Good News in our lives
South Africa Report
Sep 27th
Hello Family, we are glad to be back in Uganda after an amazing time of Ministry in South Africa. We had been invited to speak at a revival meeting in Paarl near Cape Town. The pastors in that city have been coming together for the last couple of years to pray for revival in the Paarl Valley.![]()
Incidentally the name Paarl is from the Dutch word for Pearl, and I thought it was significant that we were coming from the Pearl of Africa to Paarl.
My slot to speak was the Friday night meeting in the tent seating 2000 people in Faure Stadium.
The worship was absolutely amazing so that by the time I stood up to speak there was such a presence of God in the tent that all I could do was join the brethren in basking in the manifested Glory of God.
God released an anointing of joy and freedom. We had to restrain ourselves as a wave of laughter and joy swept the tent, there was great deliverance as God spoke clearly “whom the Son sets free is free indeed”.
It was amazing to have white, black, colored and Indian from every denomination gather in unity. Finally God released the marching orders: “Christ in you the Hope of Glory”(Col 1:27) ….Christ lives in you, all that is in Him, is in you, all authority in Heaven and on earth has been given to me…………THEREFORE GO, GO, GO, GO, GO!!!!!! (Mat 28:18,19)
God is releasing His heavenly army that is not afraid, that will not shrink back, but that will believe Him for their family, city, for their Nation. It is time to strap on your armor soldier and join the battle.
Blessing to you this week.

Get ready to Party!!
Aug 30th
I know that must seem like an unlikely title for a Kingdom Blog. But that really should not be. I was looking at the life of our Lord Jesus Christ and the first time we meet His miracle power is at a wedding reception (in Canaan). Other times he is at one of the traditional Jewish festivals at the temple. Then he is invited by Levi, a non-believer by any terms, and the Bible says:
Luke 5:29 And Levi made him a great feast in his own house: and there was great company of publicans and others that sat down with them.
Listen to that, Levi made him a GREAT feast! A great Party! and parties those days where nothing like what we have now. I recently went for a wedding where the card said: Kids not welcome! Parties those days were huge and lasted for days, sometimes weeks, remember King Xerxes, who organized a party that lasted 6 Months! (Esther 1:4). It is said about that party that the only restriction on the drinking was that no one was to be forced to to take more than he wanted!
So when the Bible says Levi threw Jesus a GREAT party, it really must have been something. In fact Jesus attended parties, most of unbelievers to the extent that the people accused Him of being a drunkard and a glutton, in Jesus own words: “I the Son of Man, feast and drink, and you say, “He’s a glutton and a drunkard, and a friend of the worst sort of sinners!” (Mat 11:19). Imagine that!
And then Jesus gives an explanation of the Kingdom and says: “The Kingdom of Heaven can be illustrated by the story of a king who prepared a great wedding feast for his son. (Matthew 22:2)
So what’s up with this feasting thing. Isn’t Christianity supposed to be dry and cold, in the name of suffering for the Lord!
Far from it. If there is one thing the kingdom is about it is the good News of the Kingdom of God. A celebration to know that no matter what the circumstance, there is life and victory in US through Christ. Jesus knew how to enjoy and build relationships through social events. His last time together before the crucifixion with the disciples was at a sumptuous dinner, and then after the resurrection we again find him having dinner.
Right Living, wellness, goodness, peace and Joy in the Holy Ghost – that is the Kingdom of God!
In spite of what you are experiencing, Paul was tied with metal fetter to a slimy prison wall, competing with rats for his food, and yet inside his heart there was a party, a celebration, a joy and peace that no one could understand.
The joy of the Lord is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10)
Can you hear the preparation for the wedding feast of the lamb? The tables are being laid, The stews and roasts are on the fire. Lift up your eyes. Get ready, put on your make-up and your dancing shoes, there is a party. Are you ready? There was the guy who came to the feast and wasn’t prepared. He got kicked out (Mat 22:12).
There is a party that is already kicking into gear, there is a joy unspeakable, a peace that transcends all understanding! Have you got your invite? Get ready to party!
Entering into the new season
Aug 24th
Dear Family,
First of all I want to say how happy I was to see all of you at the Graduation of our successful students. It has been a very long time since we last met and there is plenty of reason for that, I will explain.
This is a long posting, please take the time to read all of it as it contains very important information concerning the direction God is leading us. This is a new season, it calls for new measures.
Remember God spoke to us early 2008 that we were in a season of New Beginnings. Of course we received that word with great excitement, because hey, new things are exciting, like getting a new car, new house, new job. However as the year progressed many people spoke to me about the painful situations that they were experiencing. It seemed everything but a new season, in fact it was rather a season of death.
The old things needed to die away so that we could be free to enter the new season.
In the new season things were not to be as they used to. You cannot put new wine in old wineskin. You cannot use old methods and ways of thinking to achieve something new. Someone said: “if you want to see something you have never seen, you must do something you have never done.”
And so after the season of death we started to see light again at the end of the tunnel. I will not dwell much on the reasons for the season of death but suffice it to say that “a seed unless it dies cannot produce much fruit” John 12:24. There cannot be anything new, a new life, unless there first is a death – that is a Spiritual Principle.
So now we are in the New Season. God has started something new in our lives. The Word God gave me: “Forget the former things, Forget what you have learnt about me, your past experiences, the past miracles and the past ways you saw me move. I am doing something new. This new thing is not for the experienced or the learned. It is not for the wise or the clever. The New Season is for those who will receive it like children.
A Season of Family
One of the key parts of this new season it that it is based on family relationships. Each one of us has particular gifts and callings all part of our role in the Body of Christ. “He has given each one of us a special gift according to the generosity of Christ.” Ephesians 4:6
The new season is about us getting to know what those gifts are and how they fit in with the overall plan. A body has many parts, hands, feet, eyes, ears, mouths and so on. The purpose of the parts is not for themselves, for example the mouth eats and chews the food that will supply energy for the whole body. Just in the same way, our gifts and callings are not for ourselves but for the growth of the whole body. That is why it says: “Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the Church, the body of Christ, until we come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature and full grown in the Lord, measuring up to the full stature of Christ! (Ephesians 4:12-13). To equip, to build up others, so that we can be mature, full grown, adult, in other words so the body can grow.
Get to know your Gift
As a medical practitioner I can tell you that in fact a cell that is fully dedicated to only supplying itself and growing itself is referred to as a cancer. It must be cut out and removed before it destroys the whole body. The Bible speaks: “Don’t be selfish, don’t live to make a good impression on others. Be humble, thinking of others better than yourselvf. Don’t think only about your own affairs, but be interested in others, too, and what they are doing. Phillipians 2:4
In fact one of the reasons we are unable to see breakthroughs and spiritual failure in some situations is the failure to recognize the Body of Christ we are called to serve.
“That is why many of you are weak and sick and some have even died, …if you eat the bread and drink the wine without recognizing the Body of Christ, you eat and drink judgement upon yourself.
Not recognizing your spiritual gift and how it is to be used to serve the body can result in spiritual weakness. So the Lord is speaking to us to discover those gifts and utilize them to serve and minister to the body.
One important way that we will be able to discover our gifts is to be in relationship with one another. It only when we interact intimately that we get to know each others’ gifts and strengths. It is not easy to know each other in a large group of 50 or even 20. It is when we spend time together one on one in small groups, regularly and consistently. It is when we pray together, eat together, go out together like a family that our true nature is revealed.
That is why God led us away from the bigger meetings for a season. It is His desire that we seek each other out and really get involved in each others’ life, not just for a spiritual gathering. (it is so easy to pretend in those meetings) but real interaction.
As we do that, our call and gifting will be revealed and confirmed by our brothers and sisters and we can enter into a greater fullness of who we are called to be.
Social Networking – Part of the New Season
Another thing that the Lord has been putting strongly on my heart is to begin using technology in more and more of our activities. God told me that what we are seeing around the world, especially social networking on sites such as facebook, and twitter is part of His work in interconnecting the world. By doing this borders have been removed. We no longer need to open up an office in every nation, through the internet we can go straight into people’s living rooms. With time as our internet speeds pick up we will be able to webcast videos to million of homes, with little cost and no boundaries – these are indeed exciting times – these tools where developed for the Kingdom of God, we just need to learn how to use them.
We also wanted to improve our interaction and make it more organic. I strongly encourage you to check out our very own WBC online community space here. You can upload your photos, give updates, prayer requests, testimonies and announce events, and invite us right there. This is a unique opportunity to advertise your products, events and to connect with the whole of the WBC family. This is also where we will be announcing events and programs. You can make it a habit to keep one of your browser windows open on the community webpage. That way you can always know if another WBC member is online. We will make this space as useful and colourful as we want. You can even start your own blog on here, keeping us posted on your thoughts, experiences. I will also be answering questions to discussions that you start there. Like I said its an amazing opportunity.
This has indeed become a very long post, there is so much more on my heart but I don’t want to cause any information overload, ohh but before I forget:
Call for intercessors – we are calling for a circle of committed intercessors who will set aside time on a regular basis to pray for the Business Coalition and my program and schedule and that of the all members.
The New Season: Season of Freedom
Jul 19th
Galatians 5:1 “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.” The new season is a season of freedom. I am declaring this new season a season of freedom. Freedom from what we have previously know and been taught. I had an interesting experience recently, I was at one of the most amazing and beautiful sites on the banks of river Nile, overlooking the source. “Let me pray, and press into the Lord” so I tried, then a voice said: What are you doing? I replied: I am praying Lord, Oh really? Was His reply, I just want to hang out with you….. I want us to watch the river.. And so i stopped my “spiritual” exercised and just sat at the river banks with the Lord, watching the mighty streams passing by.
That is God’s true desire, to hang out with you be with you and you with Him. That’s what brought Him into the Garden. “Adam where are you?” was the call of a father looking for his favorite son for some time together.
There is a religion that has taken over our congregations. It is a religion of a God who is far away in hiding and reluctant to interact in the lives of his people. Because of that we must scream, plead and DO a lot of this things to get His attention. Ones spirituality is measured by the volume and fervor of our “prayer”. Service, Prayer meetings, lunch hours become but exhausting workouts leaving us tired and empty.
Jesus speaks: I stand at the door and knock. If you hear me calling and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal as friends – Revelation 3:20 LTB
Think of times of sharing a meal with friends and family. There is laughter, joking, sharing, eating, peace, joy, taking pictures, hugs, kisses, memories. Jesus is waiting to be let in as a “friend”, as a family member. In that friendship there is freedom. When you are with family there is no need to pretend, you can be yourself. That is freedom
A new Season has come!
Jul 6th
I am starting this series to shed some more light on the new season that we are in. Let me start be saying that throughout time, life is divided into seasons. In Europe you have summer and winter, and here in Africa we have dry season and rainy season. Human life is marked by seasons of childhood, adulthood and the years spent as a senior citizen.
Each Season has its own unique challenges and blessings. As a child, we have few cares and responsibilities, most of our energy can be focused on playing and eating. This changes when you become an adult. All of a sudden society places expectations on us. What used to be funny and cute as a child, like picking our nose, is now disgusting and unacceptable. The season has changed.
The Bible says: There is a time for everything – Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything there is a season….
A number of things change when the season changes:
- Our roles and responsibilities
- The skills needed
- Our environment
- Knowledge
- Our boundaries
- Our Tasks
It is important to recognize a changing season, so that we can adjust our knowledge, our skills and the tasks that we need to busy ourselves with. Otherwise we end up stuck in the old season, which is a recipe for becoming irrelevant.
We will be looking at these one by one in the subsequent postings.
