Establishing God's Kingdom in every Sphere of Influence
About WBC
The World Business Coalition was born out of a desire to bring the Kingdom of God to every sphere of influence. God spoke to us that every believer was called to be a minister in his or her particular sphere of influence. It was not just the priest or the reverend with the anointing of God, no every believer is fully empowered to bring the kingdom of God to the places that they have influence over.
In the Bible we read about a craftsman called Bezalel who was “filled with the Holy Spirit for all manner of work” Exodus 31:3-4. Not to preach, not to stand in a pulpit, but filled with the Holy Spirit to work! Which means that we can be bankers, policemen, engineers and businessmen, and fulfill a divine mandate to transform our workplaces.
Not only the workspace needs to be transformed but also the spheres of education, government, arts and entertainment.
How is this achieved?
God has given us all the authority and mandate to bring the kingdom of God into every realm. “Go and make disciples of every Nation” Matthew 28:19. Discipling nations means to provide mentorship to the systems that influence the nation. Systems are mentored when we provide God-inspired solutions to the problems in those areas.
A banking system for example is mentored when using the principles of the Kingdom, we provide a way for third world business to access credit in a manner that is fair and sustainable.
The medical system of a third world nation is mentored when we provide a health insurance system that allows people to pay their insurance premium with their farm produce instead of hard cash which is difficult to come by.
The Kingdom of God is to take the lead in providing solutions that bring peace and prosperity to the people of this word. Indeed the very act of bringing liberty from drudgery and oppression is the most powerful way to preach the gospel.
A gospel that delivers only spiritual salvation without bringing freedom from economic and social bondage is a powerless gospel.
Jesus said: He has anointed Me to …preach good news to the poor…to proclaim liberty to those held in bondage…to set free those who are oppressed. Luke 4:18
We believe that the “good news to the poor” is not just to say to the poor: Don’t worry about your poverty, for one day when you die, after all your suffering, you will go to heaven. Or to say here is a blanket to warm you up… It is to say that here is a solution from God to transform your situation, don’t say you are poor any longer, because God’s Kingdom is here and your fortunes are about to change – AMEN.
That is our mandate, and wherever God has placed us is our ministry field, whoever we come in contact with is our congregation.
It is time to transform the World!
